This is one from a family cook book, which we’ve had for years. If I find the source I’ll add it :)

We enjoy having this on a night without the kids. Warming, filling, and an easy mid-week dinner.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas 4.
  2. In a frying pan, fry the sausages for 5-10 minutes until browned. Then put in a large roasting tray.
  3. Add the onion, bacon and celery to the pan and fry for around 5 minutes until beginning to soften, then add to the roasting tray with the cherry tomatoes.
  4. Pour over the stock and arrange everything nicely.
  5. Cook in the oven for 30-40 minutes (remember to add the ciabata for the last 10-15 mins).
  6. Serve in large bowls, with the ciabata on the side.
